About the Role
We are looking for part-time baristas to take and deliver orders. You will be the face of our restaurant and responsible for our customers’ experiences. Therefore, we rely on you to reflect on the company's brand and values! You will be quick on your feet and have a polite and friendly attitude. Your ultimate goal will be to provide high-quality service that will help us grow and attract more customers.
Responsibilities
Attend to customers upon entrance
Making drinks and serving all products with friendly, individualized attention towards each customer
Maintain an understanding of all drink and food offerings; memorize basic tea recipes
Clarify any concerns about allergies or styles of food preparation
Proper handling of cash register, P.O.S. system, and ordering tablets
Collaborating with kitchen staff for prompt and correct delivery of orders
Assisting with the tidying of tables, clearing leftovers and keeping the dining area neat and pleasant
Setting tables and rearranging the dining area to accommodate larger groups and prepare the restaurant for special events
Answer telephone in a courteous and friendly manner
Perform opening and closing procedures for the day and following day
Daily cleaning of work stations, kitchen area, and bathroom
Keeping the stations stocked on floor level
Deal with complaints or problems with a positive attitude
Sweeps & mops floor
Cleans windows & door
Complies with all company standards as detailed in the company's employee manual
Skills & Qualifications
(preferred) Prior Bobarista or experience in a food-serving establishment
Attention to detail when taking orders and making drinks
Excellent oral communication skills
Knowledge of Asian cuisines
Basic bookkeeping knowledge
Strong team player and interpersonal skills
Working knowledge of point-of-sale systems
High level of stamina to work on feet for extended periods
Available to work flexible hours that may include evenings, weekends, nights, holidays, and/or special events
Willing to deep clean
Required to lift and/or move items up to 30 pounds
Legally authorized to work in the U.S.
