About the Role
We are looking for part-time floor staff to take and deliver orders. You will be the face of our restaurant and responsible for our customers’ experiences. Therefore, we rely on you to reflect on the company's brand and values! You will be quick on your feet and have a polite and friendly attitude. Your ultimate goal will be to provide high-quality service that will help us grow and attract more customers.
Responsibilities
Attend to customers upon entrance
Study the menu and learn the main ingredients and description of each dish so you can provide recommendation
Clarify any concerns about allergies or styles of food preparation
Take and serve orders accurately
Collaborating with kitchen staff for prompt and correct delivery of orders
Assisting with the tidying of tables, clearing leftovers and keeping the dining area neat and pleasant
Dish prep - signing the signature dishes
Setting tables and rearranging the dining area to accommodate larger groups and prepare the restaurant for special events
Ensuring cooking utensils and kitchen area are cleaned after closing to comply with state regulations
Keeping the stations stocked on floor level
Deal with complaints or problems with a positive attitude
Sweeps & mops floor if needed
Cleans windows & doors if needed
Complies with all company standards as detailed in the company's employee manual
Skills & Qualifications
(preferred) Prior experience in a food-serving establishment
Excellent oral communication skills
Knowledge of Asian cuisines
Highly developed interpersonal skills
Basic bookkeeping knowledge
Working knowledge of point-of-sale systems
High level of stamina to work on feet for extended periods
Able to work nights, holidays, and/or weekends
Willing to deep clean
Able to lift 50+ lbs
